Kindergarten

Our kindergarten curriculum is based on the Cambridge curriculum. At CIS, we provide research-based, enjoyable, content-rich, and learner-centered curricula that are in line with the school’s learning objectives for our students. In addition to English, Math, and Science, we provide thorough, required Phonics instruction to build a strong foundation for reading and writing in Primary. We have ensured that the material we teach will naturally lead to a preparedness for reading, writing, and mathematical ideas because “Play” is every child’s greatest job. Language, numeracy, social, physical, scientific, and technological skills are developed through conversation, discussion, questioning, and reasoning as well as stories, rhymes, books, social play, games, and indoor and outdoor activities in our carefully planned and well-balanced curriculum.
